The Aleksandra Istorik Art Gallery is located at 1 Calle Almirante, in Valencia’s historic city center. Opened in March 2023 by the Russian artist Aleksandra Istorik, the gallery occupies a site of significant historical value. It previously housed the Val i 30 gallery, where artists such as Equipo Crónica presented their work for the first time. (Instagram)
Aleksandra Istorik, born in Saint Petersburg and trained at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the Saint Petersburg Academy of Arts, has taken part in international exhibitions in cities including Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Medinaceli, Marbella, Karlsruhe, Milan, Paris, and Saint Petersburg. Her gallery champions creative freedom and inclusion, offering a platform for young and self-taught artists regardless of nationality, academic background, religion, or artistic style.
In addition to showcasing Istorik’s own work, the gallery hosts exhibitions by a wide range of artists, including painters, sculptors, draftspeople, illustrators, and graffiti artists. For example, in April 2025, the gallery inaugurated an exhibition by Marta Albeldó. The space has also hosted initiatives such as “Live Art” at iconic venues like the Las Arenas Spa Hotel and Valencia Airport, where Aleksandra engaged directly with the public during her creative process.
